Our first phase of the project has come to a close as of January 31st. The total finances raised are $2455.00!!! We are excited to say the total will be enough to get the critical repairs done and some very essential, functional repairs accomplished as well. Along with financial donations, the donations of time and services is making this project possible. Without the donations of time and services during the upcoming project work days, little could be completed. It is awesome to see what can be accomplished to glorify God when His people come together in prayer and action!
Second, we need you to know the "cat is out of the bag". Cheri couldn't take it any longer and asked our team to please go ahead and help her tell Daryl about the project. So, Pastor D can now help us coordinate the work to be done and we don't have to worry about slipping up and saying something accidentally or setting off the security alarm at their house!
He was blown away and speechless when he found out. It is all overwhelming and humbling. They are very grateful to have so many good friends in their life that want to sacrificially give so much for their family.
Finally, we are currently looking at the last weekend in February as the first work weekend. Those dates are Saturday, February 26th and Sunday, February 27th. Work shift commitments are full days, 8am-5pm. More information to follow as we get confirmation of the date from the Sutherlands.
