The list of items completed on the first work weekend were ceiling repairs in the master bedroom, sink area and closet from water damage, repainting these areas, and installing a new light fixture above the sink area. Downstairs the one large staircase leading into the living room was removed and a half-wall was installed. Outside work was done to repair the siding along with general yard and deck clean-up.
This weekend, Saturday, March 5th we will have another work day from 8am-4pm. We need to go in to finish touching up paint in the master bedroom along with painting the wall in the living room/dining room area.
Thank you to all that were able to give their time over the weekend to work on this project and those that donated food for the workers. The Sutherland family feels overwhelmed, humbled and thankful for the outpouring of love to them.
